Notice of Public Hearings // July 2nd

The public is advised that on Monday, July 2, 2018 at 7:30 pm, the Ramseur Zoning Board of Adjustment will meet in the council room at Ramseur Town Hall, 724 Liberty Street, Ramseur, North Carolina, to consider the following appeals from Notices of Violation of the Ramseur Zoning Ordinance:

  1. FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF RAMSEUR, Ramseur, NC, has filed a Noticed of Appeal concerning the Notice of Violation of Ramseur Zoning Ordinance in reference to the property located at West corner of Coleridge Road and Liberty Street, Zoning District Business-Downtown Overlay District, Tax ID# 8702620547, Property Owner – First Baptist Church of Ramseur. The Code Enforcement Officer noted the specific violation is the metal carports do not comply with the requirements of the Zoning
    Ordinance set forth in Article XVII. Downtown Overlay District, Section 6. Design Requirements.

The public is invited to attend these meetings and will be given opportunity to express their views. These applications can be viewed prior to the meeting, in the Town Clerk’s Office at the Town Hall.

The Code Enforcement Officer noted the specific violation is the metal carport does not comply with the requirements of the Zoning Ordinance set forth in Article XVII. Downtown Overlay District, Section 6.
    Design Requirements.
  2. LUCK’S TV, Ramseur, NC, has filed a Noticed of Appeal concerning the Notice of Violation of the Ramseur Zoning Ordinance in reference to the property located at 1526 Main Street, Zoning District Business-Downtown Overlay District, Tax ID# 8702526123, Property Owner – Johnny & Alicia Luck. The Code Enforcement Officer noted the specific violation of a tractor-trailer used for storage does not comply with
    the requirements of the Zoning Ordinance set forth in Article XVII. Downtown Overlay District, Section 11. Prohibited Uses.

The public is invited to attend these meetings and will be given opportunity to express their views. These applications can be viewed prior to the meeting, in the Town Clerk’s Office at the Town Hall.
