Story Time

The Ramseur Public Library offers a Preschool Story Time program each Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m. during the months of September through May.

Story Time expands during the months of June and July to include children of all ages and is held Thursday mornings at 10:30 a.m. in the meeting room of the Ramseur Municipal Building located at 724 Liberty Street.

Barry T. Richardson Youth Fishing Tournament

The Kermit G. Pell Water Based Recreation Facility (Ramseur Lake), located at 549 Ramseur Lake Road, hosts its annual Barry T. Richardson Youth Fishing Tournament each August. Sponsored by area businesses and individuals, the tournament is open to youth ages 5 to 15 and offers prizes for winners in two age groups.

Christmas Tree Lighting

The Ramseur Area Civitans will sponsor and promote the annual Christmas Tree Lighting event. The event, featuring Christmas Carols and a visit from Santa Claus, will take place on the front lawn of Town Hall in Downtown Ramseur.
